Boys will be boys

We had two extra boys over today. They had so much fun! David loves it when Abram comes to play. And Nolan thinks Josh hung the moon. He follows Josh around like his shadow.

What are you doing to that fish?

The Big Catch!

The boy next door knocked on the door and asked if we wanted some catfish? He and his dad went fishing and caught 4 catfish. They didn't know what to do with them. So of course my 'raised on the river' husband whipped out his knife and began to skin them on the spot. It was quite entertaining to all the neighboring kids. It turned out to be an anatomy lesson for these city kids. I had to cook those nasty things for Father's Day! It wasn't as good as Lee's moms cooking, but I think she would have been proud.

My friend Jen is the one in the green tank top with sunglasses. She has 3 adorable little boys. She is also my workout partner. Not only is she tough, she is 10 years younger than me! A tough act to follow!

This is Lee, his business partner Mike, and his staff, Mirabel and Tom. Isn't she cute! She is haveing a girl in August!

Just Catching Up!

I have a new friend at church that blogs. Hers is so nice and up to date. I thought I should do some catching up! (Thanks Tina for the motivation!)
It's flowers and it's edible! I wish I thought of this! I had an awesome Mother's day! Thanks Lee, Mel and Josh! But I really missed my mom! It was the first time I was not with her!

Easter in June!

Now that the 4th of July is here, I thought I would add photos of Easter. Better late than never!

These are at the neighborhood egg hunt. The boys are so excited about posing for the camera!
Easter was our first time to go back home after our move to San Antonio.
Can you believe all three of them acting so nice to each other? These were on my mom's porch. Of course everyone knows Melanie is wrapped around David's little finger! It's amazing how sweet and innocent that act when Mimi is looking!

Josh is riding Fever for the 1st time! And David is sitting T-Bone. T-Bone is a famous longhorn that belongs toa friend of the family. He appears all over the country. He is the longhorn that leads the Fort Worth Stock Show Parede. But he's getting pretty old, when he's not laying under a shade tree, he's is following my dad around hoping for a treat!

Thats it for now~Lisa

Update: It's been a month!

I can't believe it. Tomorrow will be exactly one month since we moved. It seems like forever! I can't believe we missed the snow. The kids were so bummed! The boys love being in a neighborhood where they can go out and play with friends everyday. Melanie has had a hard time adjusting. No surprise there. She went back to spend spring break with friends.
Lee's business is doing great. There is a lot to learn, but he loves it. I am working for Coldwell Banker, it's the largest real estate company in San Antonio. It was overwhelming at first, since I came from an office with about 10 agents. But I love it. San Antonio is the 3rd fastest growing market in the nation.
I am so excited about being at Heritage for Easter! We miss it sooo much. See you soon!

Happy Anniversary to Me!

We have been married for 19 years! (I was 14 when we got married. Ha!)

It's a miracle we haven't killed eachother yet. Lee is so awesome, his patience and understanding never ceases.

Lee got me a "new" car. I love it. I drove it to San Antonio by myself Thurdsay. When you have three kids, 4 hours alone in a car is heaven. I love having total control of the radio! No sports or kids music!

we are moving!

I know it's hard to believe. Lee has never lived anywhere but here on his family's land. But we are going to San Antonio. Actually to Schertz at the end of February. So here I am trying to decide what to do with 19 years of stuff.
